First-Year Musical presents Starville

Agassiz Theatre
April 10-13, 2025

On a small island off the U.S. coast lies Starville, a modern town run by a pioneering space research company, NovaCorp. Among its inhabitants is Milo, an average mail man who has humbly worked on the island his entire life.

To celebrate the company's 10th anniversary, NovaCorp hosts a wide scale talent show, and after Milo learns his former lover has returned to the island, he decides to participate to prove his self worth to her and the town. Yet due to contestants' selfish actions and moral flaws, the talent show is chaotic, resulting in the CEO revealing an unexpected identity and setting off war on the island.

Milo, once seen as unremarkable, must rally the town for one last performance to save the world. As he learns to dance, Milo leads a breathtaking showdown that not only wins the NovaCorp's approval but also averts catastrophe.

Starville is a heart-pounding, emotional journey of redemption, love, intergalactic disputes, and the extraordinary power of self-discovery.
