The Harvard Foundation for Intercultural and Race Relations will host the 39th Annual Cultural Rhythms Show and Artist Conversation, a celebration of Harvard's cultural and ethnic diversity through showcasing cultural student performances and honoring a distinguished Artist of the Year, who has contributed greatly to the entertainment industry and social justice causes. Join us on Saturday, April 5th at 6pm in Sanders Theatre!

The Harvard Foundation will honor multi-platinum recording artist, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, and activist Becky G as our 2025 Artist of the Year.

Becky G is a global powerhouse known for her chart-topping music that celebrates her deep cultural roots. With over 28 billion career streams worldwide, she is a five-time Latin GRAMMY® nominee and the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including American Music Awards, Latin Music Awards, E! People’s Choice Awards, and a Billboard Award. Her versatility shines both on stage and screen, with standout roles in Power Rangers, FOX's Emmy-winning Empire, and as the voice of Khaji-Da in DC’s Blue Beetle.

Beyond her artistry,  she is a dedicated advocate for social change, earning accolades like the 2023 Billboard Women in Music “Impact Award” and recognition as one of the Latin Recording Academy’s “Leading Ladies of Entertainment.”

She will receive the annual artist of the year award at the 39th Annual Cultural Rhythms Show and Artist of the Year Conversation joining a distinguished legacy of past recipients.
