Body and Soul is a bi-annual talent showcase hosted by the Kuumba Singers of Harvard College, held in conjunction with the Harvard-Yale football game weekend. Celebrating Black artistry and community, the event brings together performers from both Harvard and Yale for an evening dedicated to uplifting Black voices and creative expression. The showcase includes diverse performances—music, dance, spoken word, and more—each contributing to an atmosphere of unity and joy amid the weekend's competitive energy. Body and Soul has become a beloved tradition, offering both schools' Black communities a shared space to connect, inspire, and celebrate together.
